RE: [applekeynote] quicktime video in keynote broken

I have been meaning to email about this very issue. I couldn't figure out what was the issue. I'm not using the newest version of Keynote, but Keynote 3. We upgraded from Keynote 1.1 about 4 months ago and updated our slide shows and every once in a while we get the black screen with no sound on a video. I'd love to hear how to fix it.

Our fix is to delete the video and replace it with the same video in our backup files. Then it works, but it's never consistent and we don't know why it happens. Any help would be appreciated.

Subject: [applekeynote] quicktime video in keynote broken

Hi all
bad surprise after updating to quicktime 7.3, videos don't play no
more in keynote 4.0.1.
Only audio and black screen, no means to switch to the next screen.

Hope they'll fix it quickly, I couldn't return to 7.2, because it
wouldn't install even after trashing app, components and receipts.
There must be some more hidden thing: error message - you could not
install quicktime on this computer, because there is a newer version
installed or something like this.

The Apple keynote discussion forum is relating the same hassle on
Leopard or Tiger.

Any hints?

Thanks
Martin
