[Apple iPod] Podcasts not syncing

Over the weekend I had a computer crash. Luckily my music is all on an external hard drive. However, when I reinstalled Itunes, and pointed it to the external drive where my music is, all went well. However, None of my podcasts are syncing over to the Ipod. Is there something I need to do to get the Podcasts over to the Ipod?
