Try your local Radio Shack or Brookstones. They both sell one called
"iGo". There are several variants of this device but the one I bought
takes two AA batteries. Then you buy tips that work for different
devices: iPods, cell phones of various brands. I used mine to and from
Japan last summer. Maxell also makes one. I had no trouble with
airport security. Just be sure to take a couple of extra pairs of
double AA batteries

Note: I used this device on a 5th gen iPod. The website indicates that
it is compatible with the Classic but I have no personal experience.
