[Apple iPod] Itunes Account

I have a USA Itunes account. Because songs appear on different Itunes
Stores (Canada, UK, Australia), is it possible for me to create a
separate Itunes account for these other countries, without compromising
my USA account? I hope to redeem download codes and gift cards, and
make purchases, from those other Itunes stores.
