[Apple iPod] OMG please help

I have my Florida holiday photo's on my itouch and assumed that they
were still on my computer. I was going to take them off my computer
and put them on an sd card to get them printed and they are no longer
on the computer and I have no idea why. The thing is I was changing
my photo's in Itunes and I have unticked the box of the folder the
photo's were in so now if I sync the Itouch I am going to loose all my
photo's. I can't seem to put them back on my pc. Is there anything I
can do or have I lost them???
