RE: [Apple iPod] Computer Crash while trying to sync iPod

Aloha,

1. If you bought the email package for the iTouch, it is modified in
small ways to work better. I haven't checked the other packages.
2. There have been some internal changes in support of the new me.com
service.
3. They have added the 'App Store' button so you can download new
programs (apps) to your device. Many are free.
4. You must upgrade iTunes also for all of this to work.

There was a glitch in the system on upening day (Jul 11). For some reason
Apple chose to do too many things at once. Maybe they didn't anticipate the
demand.

1. They realeased the new 3G phone.
2. They released the phone in MANY new countries.
3. They upgraded iTunes
4. They opened the new Apps store.
5. They stared the new me.com service to replace dotMac (.mac).

My iTouch crashed when I upgraded. I hit the restore button and it
'restored' to Ver 2.0. I used some non-Apple software to save my audio,
video, & audiobook files first. This is a good idea. The blogosphere is
saying "don't panic" and that some people had messed up there machines when
if they had waited the problem resolved itself.
