[Apple iPod] Computer Crash while trying to sync iPod

Sorry folks, have to go no mail, as my computer crashed, and I fear my
hard drive is lost. After having a horrible time trying to shut off my
80g pod, I finally got it shut down. Then went to sync it, the iTunes
screen came up and I thought it would start to sync, but it didn't. It
completely froze my machine. I could not shut it down, I had to
manually shut it down.

Then when I rebooted, I got a lovely white cursor blinking at me.

I'm going to have to go no mail until I can find out what is going on.
I will read online though from a laptop. Thank heaven's for a second
puter.
