I think you can cancel the pop-up and then work with the CD and iTunes?

Don't import them unless you need to change their format. Since they are already mp3, select the ones you want and drag them onto the iTunes Library or create a playlist for the book and drag them on it. Getting your books to appear in the special iTunes' Audiobooks section is more complicated and I think the files have to be in AAC format with the file type changed to m4b (from memory, not verified)
