Re: [Apple iPod] Re:Lost iTunes Files

Many thanks to those who replied to my posting, I can't say that I fully
understand everything though!

I think I have decided that the "best" option would be for me to basically
forget about all of the lost/corrupted files ( have now cleaned everything out
) and instead use some "Ipod to iTunes Software".

I've looked at several programs and 2 seem to be designed to do what I want:

"iPod to iTunes" & "iPod to PC Transfer" both being very reasonably priced.

However before I start doing this can I please ask for some more advice?

On my Laptop I still have the original iTunes v7 loaded showing my original
playlists in the library but there are now NO FILES there or anywhere else on
the hard drive.

When I transfer from the iPod will these imported files show up in this
original iTunes library?

Will I then just "carry on as normal" and import anything new?

many thanks,

Brian ( UK )
