[Apple iPod] New iPod & Sync Problem...

Hi! Recently bought a 160GB Classic... upgraded iTunes... and started
loading songs. Bottom line is I have about 25,000 songs in my main music
storage folder (27,000 total - but 25,000 are MP3 format). For some
reason only about 23,700 make it into the main library of iTunes - and
then only about 22,300 make it into the iPod itself, according to what
I'm seeing in the iPod library. I do get a messaging telling me that
certain songs could not be copied to the iPod from the main library -
but that only is a problem for 100 of the files. I was going to list the
items that I have checked - from the screen you see when you click on
your iPod's name - but now for some reason, when I highlight my iPod's
name, it still only shows me my iPod's library.

I have searched high & low trying to figure this out and had several
people look at my setup but no go. HELP?? Thanx in advance!
