Re: [Apple iPod] Re:Audiobook files downloaded as mp3's

I use windows XP and this is how I set up audio books
Join the tracks- down load in AAC format which gives you m4a.   This puts it in the music section.  then I right click it and show in explorer.  I change the m4a to m4b.  (you may need to find the book again because i-tunes is looking for the mp4 file but this step is easy just look in the music folders. ) At that point the file acts like an audiobook but does not show up in the audiobook 'folder'.   I have read that if you run it for 30 secs. is will recongonize it as an audiobook and change its 'folder' but this has never happened for me.  I have discovered that if I drag the file to my desktop and then drag it back to my library it will put it in the audiobook folder.   This seems like a lot of steps but once I got use to it, I find it easy to do.
