Does anybody know of a way for Keynote to retrieve names from list in
a database, csv text file, or something similar? I have been asked to
put together a presentation during which there will be door prize
draws. They would like me to put the name of the winner up on the
screen however I don't think I can type fast enough to do that plus
the potential for misspelled names is also a problem. I am thinking
that if I can get Keynote to retrieve names from a database given an
entry number (same number that's on the winning entry), then it might
just work.
Anybody have any suggestions? Is this something that might be better
done in .... shudder ... Powerpoint?
