Re: [applekeynote] How do you tell someone they have bad breath...er a bad PP presentation?

I don't think feedback sheets always work. I wanted to pass out a feedback sheet during one of my recent Gospel Meetings I held and a fellow told me he couldn't bring himself to critique a preacher.  Most people if they want to critique will wait until the maximum number of people are around and then give his feedback.
Would love to have someone whose ability I had utmost confidence in to critique my work. When you have to do at least 110 presentations a year I am sure they get dry to the same audience week in and week out.

There is a lot of information on the topic. Easily accessed.

What would your friend say if you said "Wow, I just saw a great presentation".
Would they quiz you on it and show interest or move on?

Maybe they think they are doing just fine and they don't need any help, thank you very much.

Suggest to the your friend they should hand out a feedback sheet to their audience.
If they ask why, you can say it's a good way to improve one's presentation.

I just withstood a dear friend's PP presentation. It broke just about every rule/suggestion
presented by Les. Long sentences. Reading the screen. Few graphics.

Dull. Boring. Agonizing.

Of course, it makes my KN presentations look so much better, but I want to help my friend.
What should I do? Send him a metaphoric bottle of Scope?

How do people here tell friends that they're putting people through PowerPoint Hell?
