when i bougth my iPod,they said that chrging it for at least 8hours just for the 1st time,and then you can charge it for how much you want
i mean the 1st charging has to being taken for 8hours,and i don't think you did this one!

ok here is my issues,
I am running vista, I have a 4 gig I think its a classic(non color with
a wheel) I have a 4 gig 1st gen and a 4 gig 2nd gen.
We were charging the 1s an 2nd units by the power cord the other day
and now they won't power on, I was charging the classic by USB and it
read about 75% battery so I disconnected it for a minute and it told me
the battery was very low and when I reconnected it, it won't power on.
I can't get them to reset. I also noticed that when I went into my
itunes it showed that my daughters shuffle was still connected. I
unistalled the Itunes and reinstalled it, it STILL showed that shuffle
was connected. I attempted to charge by car charger with no luck. I
cannot figuer out how I crashed 3 Ipods in 48 hrs.
