[Apple iPod] Touch upgrade

I've been trying all day to purchase the 2.0 upgrade for my Ipod
Touch with no luck. I suspect that maybe it's swamped with new iPhone
owners. Has anyone else tried and/or succeeded in getting the upgrade?
