gig. Couldn't be happier. I want to put some movies on my nano and
play it on my tv with an composite AV cable. My son told me I only
need the apple doc if I wish to charge the battery in the ipod and have
remote control. He told me that I probably would have to buy the Apple
composite AV cable for my 3rd gen nano because he thought Apple put a
chip in the cable preventing me from essentially buying a cheaper 3rd
party cable and playing video on my tv. He said that a cheaper cable
would play only audio and not video. Can you please sort this out for
me and tell me what is fact and fiction? Thanks very much for your
help!
