[applekeynote] Can you Hyperlink from a slide instead of an object?

I'm trying to create a presentation that links several other shorter files together. The main
file will serve as the "home base," introducing the other segments. I'd like to set up a
hyperlink so that when I reach the appropriate point, Keynote switches seamlessly to the
external files, then seamlessly returns to the "home" file.

I know I can do this by creating a hyperlinked object (even an invisible one like a
transparent circle) which launches the outside files. The drawback is that this requires
mouse control, and requires the presenter to maneuver the mouse over the hyperlinked
object, then click on it. I want a simpler solution, where the presenter (who will be using a
remote on a stage, nowhere near a keyboard/mouse) simply presses "forward" on the
remote, and Keynote branches off to the referenced file.

It seems simple, but I can't find any way to do this. Is there any way to launch a hyperlink
from a simple "forward" command, rather than clicking on the link object? Is it possible to
make an entire slide into a hyperlink?

If not, this should be an easy feature for Apple to add in future versions. It would make it
much easier to create presentations "compiled" from stock components, rather than
having to assemble a full (and large) deck every time.

Any thoughts?
