[Apple iPod] Ipod on Windows 2000

I installed iTunes on my parents Windows 2000 machine. After that I
took my nephew's iPod namo (third generation) to the computer. iTunes
messsage popped up requiring me to upgrade iTunes to 7.5, well that
does not wor kon Windows 2000. Only Windows XP, has 7.5 iTunes.

Any suggestions?
