address beginning. I answered this question before with the info about
transferring two files between the different computers, then running
iTunes in the "other" computer.
If you have transferred your music, video, etc files, say with
computer "A" and want to sync your iPod to computer "B". Before you do
this, go to computer "A" get the two files I listd in the above
message, then go to computer "B", place these two files in the
identical directory (using an USB stick or something similar for the
transfer - use Explore to load he files to the "stick" then over write
them on computer "B" (make sure you have iTunes on both computers) -
Then when you connect you iPod to computer "B", iTunes will know that
all the files it "sees" are correct (from the two files you have first
transferred) and you can load more, manipulate them, etc. wth iTunes.
Just be sure if you go back to computer "A" that you first transfer
these files back (and overwrite them) to the same place.
These two files carry all the file info. Moving them between computers
is easy. Just check the dates (go to details in Explore so you can see
this info) to make sure they are the latest you used in the previous
"sync".
Sounds complicated but not really if you can paly with Explore (go to
Start and right click to find Explore).
