Return to Apple and tell them you are a Windows
user and having problems, have them walk you
through the necessary steps to accomplish what you
want to accomplish.

I use a refurbished video 60GB and like it, but I
also have a MacBook where iTunes is installed. I
admit that I don't use itunes or Quicktime on my
PC.

I think you are within the return period if you
truly are unhappy. There are some MP3 players on
the market that will work with your PC and keep
you in familiar territory with the cards. I admit
to liking them too and use them with my Tungsten
for audio books, best of all worlds, a Palm PIM
reading to me when I am waiting somewhere. I use
the iPod strictly for music and video and it sits
charging in an iHome clock radio where it also can
play music through the radio speakers.
