[Apple iPod] ihome unit issue

Hi all,

I just bought an under the counter ihome unit. I have my 5G ipod in
it. For some reason, it is playing "crackly", and skipping......I
contacted ihome and they said it was an interference from wireless,
cell phone, etc.
I checked on ilounge and others are having some skipping issues with
the version 1.2.3. Anyone here having issues???
