Is the album in question purchased from iTunes or did you import from a CD
or did you purchased it someplace else from the net?
Where is and what type of artwork is it (.jpg? .gif?, . bmp?)?
I am assuming we are not talking about the get artwork function through
iTunes where is automatically downloaded.
Can you paste that artwork into any other album or file?
If you select a file that does have artwork, select copy and then past
the existing artwork to some temp directory to make sure you don't lose it.
Then choose get info and Artwork tab and clear the artwork and then paste
this problem artwork there does that work. That would eliminate if the
artwork itself is corrupt, bad or just weird. Yes, I have, on a couple of
rare occasions had the problem your having and I found it was the specific
artwork file.
What type of music file is it? Is it a mp3, m4a, mp4, m4v?
I can tell you now that if it's a m4v or mp4 or some other type of music
video you will never get a single jpg or gif or bmp as the artwork.
Assuming it is a Audio file what would happen if you saved the album to cd
as a CD Audio and then imported it back into iTunes as the MP3 or AAC
format?
