[Apple iPod] Vista or XP? Which one better for ITunes and IPod?

Greetings:

I just had to trash my old laptop and replaced it with a dual core running
Vista Home Premium. Before I reinstall ITunes and sync my Ipod again I am
debating whether to put it on my Desktop running XP or my Notebook running
Vista. Both have 4 gigs of RAM and both have large drives with backup
drives attached. But I'm wondering which one runs better if anyone has an
opinion?
