When I used DVD Decrypter, then Handbrake on Disney's "Mary Poppins"
my 2 year old daughter was content with the outcome. I did notice a
slight video glitch for time to time about every 5 to 10 minutes at
most, so it ain't perfect on the newer releases. The glitch is
usually a multi-colored line across the screen for a couple of
seconds, but it really varies.
I just tried to decrypt Aristocats, one of Disney's latest release,
and apparently, Disney has countered Decrypter, so that a Failure
message pops up within seconds of decrytion. Aborting is the only
option, then. Bastards! If anyone knows of a freeware alternative
for Vista, please share!
