This is just my 2 cents worth, but I went through about 5 or 6 Wal-mart buys (paying anywhere from $10.00 to $25.00 each!!!) and everyone of them died what I thought was a very premature death. I ended up buying a set of Bose ear buds. They have different sized pieces that fit in your ear so you can get just the right fit. They are expensive (about $100.00), but if they ever go bad, all I have to do is take them to a Bose store (or send them by mail) and they will replace them free. There is a store about an hour away from me and I thought is was a very good buy. Since then my Mom has also bought a pair and loves them. Hope this helps you decide.
