Welcome to the group.
Your podcasts are probably here:
Click on Start in the lower left hand corner
Click on My Music folder on the right hand side of the window that just popped up
Open up the iTunes folder
Open up the iTunes Music folder
Open up the Podcasts folder
All your podcasts should be in there if all your settings are the default settings.

I just joined because I just got an iPod to download podcasts. I
don't want the new
downloads to erase the previous ones, and can't figure out how to
copy the files
over to my backup HD. Thanks to Fred, I finally know how to get the device to
show up in My Computer. :-) But I don't see the downloads
there. Plus iTunes'
only backup options are DVD/CD.
I went thru the FAQ, but didn't see the help I need. If someone knows where to
look, or can help, I'd very much appreciate it.
