for something to replace the 60GB 5G iPod that I used to have.
Featurewise the Archos 605 wifi is leading, but the 32GB iTouch
certainly has a much more wowie-zowie interface (and price... saw
them at our local Costco today).
From the last few months of web research/reading the Opera Browser
in the Archos seems to work a lot better than the one in the iTouch
due to the Apple one being quite limited in what works (it uses Apple's
browser that's even below Opera on the "master browser list" of the web).
Didn't like the colors? My sister-in-law loves her Archos, and
she's a professional artist who is particularly color sensitive,
although she hasn't spoken about that aspect directly.
She hasn't come on a visit since she got it though so I haven't
seen it myself. Stores don't seem to have it to see in person
(CompUSA is the only one on their list but they're gone now).

P.S. - Archos size was also a concern of mine. Good in that their
screen is a good bit bigger and much higher resolution
than the one one the iTouch, but not good for obvious reasons.
