[Apple iPod] Re:deads ipod

I have a 3rd gen 20gb that just stopped taking a charge. I have to
thought on how to continue using it. One I now leave it on the Ihome
dock and use it like a radio in my bedroom. I can still connect it to
my computer to add music. The other thing I thought of doing was to use
it as an external 20gb hard drive. As long as I have it connected to my
laptop it lets me drag and drop files just like any external drive. I
like it for this purpose because it is very light weight and does not
weight much with my old ultraportable toshiba laptop. I wish I could
change the battery but the case doec not open easily.
