Re: [Apple iPod] cassette adapter for ipod

I think this is because the cassette drive senses when the tension
(resistance to motion in the capstan and pinch-wheel) increases and assumes
that the end of the tape is reached, hence the reversal. Any dirt or
misalignment in there could have the same effect.
