[Apple iPod] disappearing podcast

Some of my podcast are disappearing off my ipod.

They are still in itunes, but are not under the main podcast artist name
anymore on the ipod and i can't find them anywhere on the ipod.

Any help? I would like to get them back on.

ALSO i notice that there is a "dot" in the column all the way to the left
in itunes. Only the dotted podcast are on the ipod.
