[applekeynote] Moving things on the screen from left or top

Since Move and Rotate Actions were added to Keynote I have often
wished that the slide could be placed somewhere in the Slide View
window other than flush left and top. If this is already possible,
please tell me how, but assuming that it isn't, I'll explain why I'd
like it.

Moving something into the slide area from the bottom or the right is
easy, as is moving it out from the slide to the right or down, but
sometimes one wants to move it from the left or the top. This iosn't
impossible, and I've got it to work, but it takes a tremendous amount
of trial and error to get it right, with the result that it takes a
couple or hours to achieve an effect one could get in a few minutes
if one could drag objects off the left or the top of the slide area.

That's one example. Another is that I have a drawing in which I want
to move a spotlight to three different regions of the picture in
succession. To do this I've made a very large black rectangle (much
larger than the area of a slide), with an oval hole punched out of
it, the hole being 100% transparent and the rest of the rectangle 50%
opaque. By combining moves and rotations I can highlight different
zones in turn. Again, this is not impossible to do with the present
set-up, but it would be vastly easier if the slide rectangle could be
centred in the window instead of being always at top-left.
