on the computer are not corrupted. For example, many of the music
files downloaded through Limewire are corrupted because there is no
way to determine whether or not they are legit. Next I would scan
your computer for viruses, there may be some if you have problems with
loss of library. Finally on the dimmed out songs, the iPod can only
be synced to one computer at a time, it happens to be one of its fatal
flaws but greatest protections. Be sure she hasn't tried to sync it
to more than one computer, check her library versus the songs she has
and be sure that they are hers and not from her friend's house or
something. If there are any other problems feel free to let me know
and I will see if I can help.
