If you have had iTunes get the artwork then yes that is the case. I always add my own artwork that way it is attached to the music file. I guess you would also have to copy the artwork for those music files too so it would be a little more complicated.

Or you could just have iTunes get the artwork again, or get it yourself again. I was disappointed when iTunes added the album artwork option and the first time I used it I found out it didn't transfer with the mp3 so I quit using it.

I will try that, but aren't there more than one file for each album,
eg isn't the artwork kept in a separate file (or folder)?
