[Apple iPod] Newbie help please!!

Hi, I have just joined this group hoping that somebody may be able to
help.

My daughter has a Nano (not the latest type) & yesterday had some
problems downloading music on to it.

1 - somehow approx 1/3 of her library has disappeared, I think we can
figure that out though!

2 - when she connects her ipod she gets a message that one or more
tunes are not authorised on to be played on this PC.

3 - all the tunes listed in the ipod library screen are 'dimmed out' &
are not selectable so she can't copy ant new tunes to her ipod.

There, I think that's it!! hope someone can help!!
