[Apple iPod] iTunes not playing songs

I know this is an ipod group, but I figured someone here could answer my question. itunes
will not play any of the songs in my library. If I select a song to play, it just sits at 0:00 & will
not move. I am using the most current version with OSX. Any ideas?
