[applekeynote] kn 4 presenter bug? while jumping ahead during embedded movie

I want to have slide and movie sequence control when presenting in an
awards ceremony presenting in dual screen mode. It is not unusual
that presenters get off script so I often need to jump around the
slide presentation or jump out of a movie before it ends . . . that's
where the problem starts. While playing a movie in KN, a jump to a
slide (other than the next one) pauses the movie and does not jump to
the desired slide. It this a bug or the way it is supposed to work??

Is there a better tool/program to present slides and video that has
the power of a video switch with two inputs (slides and video)?
