Now I am no new to itunes nor am I new to Ipods but this has got me totally stumped.
I have done the 5 R's I have read the FAQ.
I have a 160GB classic (And also a 2nd gen nano)
Now I have formatted the ipod to mac restored it etc. I have undated itunes. I have then in
desperation, formatted the ipod on the Windows machines (Both the XP and the Vista)
Both still give me the same error.
I have unchecked the whole library and tried to drag one song to the classic. NOTHING
works. I am close to resending this back to apple.
I tried to use the nano and drag a song to that but again all I get is a -39 error. I have
trawled the internet and the apple forums. I have tried what they have suggested.
The only thing left that I can think of is uninstalling itunes and starting from scratch.
What I don't understand, is why is the windows Itunes affected (OK the library may have
an error but unchecking should eliminate this) Why is the nano effected?
Is there no hope!???
My songs are on a server that the whole house accesses and i usually access through the
MAC
Thanks for reading if nothing else
