[Apple iPod] DVD Videos - Adding to Nano??

Another dumb newbie question. I did read the manual, but I still do
not understand what I need to do or what I am doing wrong.

I have the Dion "Taking Chances" DVD, it's a 2 DVD pack. One is audio
music and the other is a video.

I had not problems uploading the audio music to my PC and iTunes.
Tonite I will download them to my Nano (3 generation).

But...when I put the DVD with the videos into my notebook (windows
vista). I could not figure out how to upload the videos to my
notebook. Please help!!
