having to mess with Norton .......... can't load 2008 so had to take
off/reinstall 2007 etc.)
I tried several of the suggestions at an Apple Forum (re same problem)
incl. disabling personal firewall but none worked
Eventually Symantec came up with something which worked - I share it
here in case it does someone else a good turn - let me know if so
