iTunes could not connect to the iTunes Store - the network connection timed
out
make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is
active
well, I can do all other 'online' things - view websites, download mail etc
the 'Accessing iTunes Store 'progress bar' jumps immediately whereas it
usually fills up by degrees until the required info appears below
Did download a recent 23 MB Norton update which (dunno why) seems to have
triggered my desktop icons changing colour (?)
I looked in Store/Authorize computer
my Apple ID is there but no password ........ but I don't recall entering a
password i.e. setting this up
I have Norton I'net Security and did recently have to uninstall this and
reinstall 2007 ('cos I couldn't get the '08 upgrade to take on). Possibly
the cause for my problem lies with the dread Norton product?
I did try turning off the Personal Firewall within Norton - but no joy still
at the Store
Has anyone an idea of how I can fix this please?
