Re: [Apple iPod] New article: iTunes and Large Libraries: Slow, Slow, Slow

I would compare it to running a game on my computer. My computer wasn't meant for that kind of action and once I get through fixing the mess I made I'm sure iTunes won't be so slow.

Eventually I'll be finished with college and be working, then I'll be getting that new Apple laptop, the one that's really small. Every I see a commercial for it I am completely captivated!

Well, to be fair, there are several variables. It's not the size of
the music files, but simply the number of files. And the speed of your
computer has a big effect as well. My point is that I have one of the
fastest Macs, so it shouldn't be an issue. As for memory, on a Mac, it
doesn't use much.
