I have come across what appears to be a bug in Keynote ('08, versions
4.0.1 and 4.0.2 on OSX 10.4.10) and I wonder if anybody has a fix or
work around for it. The problem is that I have two identical bar
charts on one slide, one layered on of the other. On one chart, all
the bars are set to Opacity=100% while on the other chart all the
bars are set to Opacity=10% except one. The idea is that we display
both charts and when the chart with all bars at 100% opacity is faded
out, the other chart remains with one bar at 100% opacity and the
rest at 10% opacity therefore highlighting the one bar. The problem
is that if I close the file and re-open it, the chart with the bars
at 10% opacity appears with all it's bars at 100% opacity even though
the sliders are still set to 10%. If I then click on the slider which
is set at 10%, the bars jump to the 10% opacity setting.
This is a huge problem as we have many charts in these presentations
and we can't go through each show and click on the sliders to set the
transparency properly before the show. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
