Re: [applekeynote] Re: Web Presentation

I've participated in a WebEx / Powerpoint presentation in my NASA work.

They generally consist of three parts:

The webex part is live sharing of ideas.

The PPT (or KN) is downloadable before the presentation

And the call-in mechanism allows for verbal interaction.

There has to be extreme moderation on voice (the system we use allows people to press *6 to mute/unmute.

While people work through the KN/PPT, the presenter can modify the presentation based on user input and show the revisions through Webex.

Hope this is helpful.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I want to approximate a live presentation as much as possible. I want to ask attendees questions and include their input as we go along. It needs to be live and interactive.

My girlfriend works for a big pharmaceutical corp and they have WebEx seminars all the

She has broadband, but I notice th! at they always phone-conference simultaneously for the

couple of ideas: Are these gonna be Mac people? If so, what about iChat?

Here's one: Post a HQ version of the presentation to a youtube account, complete with
narration and transitions, have everyone watch it full-screen from their browsers??

thrifty ideas from a thrifty dood
