[Apple iPod] converting music to new ipod - need help

Hi - My name is Lisa and I have a 30gb ipod that is full - I recently
purchased the 160gb ipod and a new macbook. Is there a way to get all
my old ipod music back into itunes and sync it to my new ipod?

My old ibook computer could only old 1000 songs at a time so don't
have my music library on anything but the old ipod. My new macbook
will hold lots of music and I plan to back up everything on an
external hard drive.
