And the title slide will be as attractive  as you make it.
You will lose the current one included with the theme.

But I could make 1024 x 768 versions of my nicely laid out slides for people to download and drop into that first slide.

1. Open a new document, and select one of your custom themes. Make 
seven slides: 1. Title; 2. Picture center; 3. Picture right; 4. Title

2. Save as a theme in the file menu. I've been archiving the previous 
versions of the themes in a folder called Legacy Themes in case I need 
them again.

Now the image quality of your custom theme will be better in the theme 
chooser, and it will have previews when you mouse over the theme! 
Rinse and repeat as needed!
