Re: [applekeynote] Presentation Magic

Hi Dianne,

There is a 100MB video file floating about the ethernet of the presentation. Not sure how to track it down. It might be that some one on list has a copy...

The pity of it is that the video only showed the slides and not me! I would have liked me in it, because of hurdle requirement of showing me in action for my National Speakers Association accreditation needs.

Two, there is a certain stasis with the slide-only show without watching me cavorting around, especially where I explain where those  7x7 or 6x6 rules of slide organisation come from!

Next year, I’ll be in Newcastle working with some environmental scientists in their presentation skills, especially complex data, since they need to present to non-scientists in a most persuasive fashion eg, to politicians. You might like to co-ordinate a workshop.

Hope this helps,

Les

Hi Les,
I really was impressed with your Macworld presentation from 2008 and
had my students watch it.  Being a scientist, we are overloaded with
those dry slides with too many words and graph after graph.  The
mention of Macworld 2009 had me looking for the old presentation again
and I can't find it.  Do you have a movie of the presentation that you
could post?
