You obviously have never lived in Poland (or some other European
countries)! ;-) Here, 6" is the norm! And if you back away, they just
come closer again. I wonder if your average Pole would think the same
thing about on-screen elements.... I never thought about that before.
Maybe I'll have to do a test someday. BTW, I'm like you, I like
space--lots of neutral space!
