Re: [applekeynote] Endpoint, orientation and size of action builds

I too have used the working backwards approach,  and agree that it can be helpful. One way in which I compensate for the lower resolution is to dissolve a higher resolution image on top of the scaled lower resolution immediately at the end of the scale action build.  I have found it helpful to distract the audience when I do this by changing the theme in a subtle fashion: for instance going from black to gradient.  John is right, we need to collectively complain to Apple feedback about these issues that force us into less than optimal workarounds.

I was trying to set the end position of one "side" panel of my Refections theme and the darn thing would jump and not stay in the position I wanted (to the pixel). Arrow keys do not work on the red end position diamond. VERY FRUSTRATING!
I had to adjust the START position on the prior slide. Which caused other issues.

Ultimately this is the sort of thing that separates Keynote users
from PowerPoint users: the true Keynote user is willing to spend a
hour getting something pixel-perfect even if it's not going to be on
the screen for more than a couple of seconds. At least in the days
when I used PowerPoint (up to about three years ago) it wasn't
possible to get things pixel-perfect no matter how much time I was
willing to spend. Even objects copied from one slide and pasted into
the next didn't end up in exactly the same plac
