I wish it had been, but unless I've forgotten myself I have never had
a quick and reliable way to do this. What I use is trial and error:
reasonably reliable, but not at all quick.

Ultimately this is the sort of thing that separates Keynote users
from PowerPoint users: the true Keynote user is willing to spend a
hour getting something pixel-perfect even if it's not going to be on
the screen for more than a couple of seconds. At least in the days
when I used PowerPoint (up to about three years ago) it wasn't
possible to get things pixel-perfect no matter how much time I was
willing to spend. Even objects copied from one slide and pasted into
the next didn't end up in exactly the same place.
