You have all your music on the NAS, and your PC's iTunes points to that,
yes?
Enable sharing in that iTunes.
In the MacBook's iTunes, switch on the Look for Shared Libraries option.
This will then see the iTunes on the PC, which points to the music on the
NAS.
I do something similar. I have an old iMac G3. I replaced the hard-drive
with a larger one so it can hold all my music and act as an iTunes "server".
Using iTunes Sharing, I can listen to any music held on the iMac on my
PowerBook via our network.
